Score’s Track Library allows you to see all of your favorite tracks in one place.
This is a great way to:
- Start new projects with old classics.
- Spin off new versions of existing tracks.
- Add notes to tracks you're still working on.
In this article we will walk you through:
Layout
For each track in the Track Library, Score displays its:
- Track Title
- Descriptor (musical algorithm)
- Project
- Date created
- Length
- "Favorited" status
Play your tracks by clicking the play button on the far left.
Download your tracks by clicking the download button.
Open a track by clicking its title.
Extended Track Functionality:
On any track, you can access extended functionality including:
- Duplicating tracks
- Adding notes
- Unfavoriting
Access advanced track-level functionality by either clicking anywhere on a track, or clicking its three dot menu.
Duplicating Tracks
Score lets you duplicate an existing track into any project. This is a great way to seed new projects with similar material that you’ve already favorited, or make versions of existing tracks you like.
Duplicate track into existing project
- Select the three dot menu
- Select DUPLICATE
- Select ADD TO EXISTING
- Select which project from drop-down
- Select OPEN TRACK
Duplicate track into a new project
- Select the three dot menu
- Select DUPLICATE
- Select NEW PROJECT
- Title your new project
NOTE: If the length of the original track differs from the length of its destination project, we will automatically adjust it to extend/shrink the track appropriately.
Add notes:
You can add up to 1000 characters of notes about your track. Use this in case you want to make notes to yourself about this track (eg. where the track was used? what was the client feedback on the track?).
- Click into the track
- Select Notes
- Type in your note
- Hit DONE
